White and white oak - modern kitchen + more

A creative young family had a vision for a serene and modern space in their dated and disconnected home. A white color palette was warmed with white oak - and every design and construction detail matters when you're not distracted by multiple elements or colors. Projects included: moving the kitchen, adding Kolbe double slider window and patio doors to backyard, new living room windows, all new white oak hardwood flooring, new lighting, widening all openings between main living spaces (cased in white oak), creating a functional mini mudroom space off garage, modernizing the staircase with a white oak vertical slat wall, and a new front door/sidelight.
